Rep. Sam Stigall raised the farm bill, housing and federal regulations during a stop in Leonard, Missouri, KTVO reports.

The Leonard visit put the lawmaker in front of rural constituents who pressed for detail on all three topics. According to the KTVO report, the farm bill discussion dominated the agenda, reflecting the program's weight for producers in the region.

Stigall also fielded questions on housing and the reach of federal regulations, two issues that intersect directly with rural economies and farm operating costs.

The KTVO account did not include specific legislative timelines, dollar figures or bill text, so growers tracking the farm bill reauthorization should watch for committee action and CBO scoring before pricing in any program changes.

Further constituent stops are expected as the lawmaker continues the district series.
